To say that the Tesla Cybertruck generated some strong reactions would be an understatement. No sooner had Team Elon’s latest creation rolled on stage than the internet started to break like a pair of bulletproof windows. Impressions ranged from shock, disgust, intrigue, and all of the above, cutting to the core of enthusiasts’ emotions as they tried to make sense of this bizarre vehicle.
As the presentation wrapped and we hopped in Cybertruck to take our first ride, meme lords everywhere got to work. In the hours and days that followed, a flood of loltastic content hit the interwebs. While not every Cybertruck meme was exactly positive, it seems memification indicates something’s impact on society. In that regard, we have to imagine Meme Master Musk scrolled through his Twitter timeline with glee, relishing the focus Cybertruck brought to his brand. We did our fair share of scrolling (and creating) ourselves—enjoy this roundup of the funniest Cybertruck memes we could find.

Fortunately, @safelite was there to help. Guess the mobile glass repair guys offer ballistic-grade glazings now.

Streamer extraordinaire @pewdiepie came through with a succinct comparison between Cybertruck and one of the best video game cars ever rendered. In fact, Elon himself quickly chimed in, confirming that the Halo Warthog was a source of inspiration for Cybertruck.
More video game comparisons came from Reddit. u/indianacrichton dropped this banger in the r/memes sub. Cybertruck is a glimpse into the future, or not.
u/ajallee is spot on with this one. Cybertruck should combine stainless steel sports car performance with pickup truck utility.
u/YashSSJB1 shared the first spy shot of Tesla’s next product, the Cyber School Bus.

@scitechuniverse implied the awkwardness of Cybertruck’s design in comparison to Tesla’s earlier products. The struggle is real.
Elon was always clear that Cybertruck was inspired by the 1982 film Blade Runner, which was set in November 2019. True to form, that’s exactly when Cybertruck debuted. @highsnobiety captured the Tesla’s similarity to one of the movie’s vehicles.

The official Lego Facebook page whipped up their super-simple Cybertruck build kit…
But @lego__911 took things way, way further with this brick-based Cybertruck rendition—complete with Tesla’s E-ATV.
MotorTrend staffers found time in their busy, stressful schedules to whip up some Cybertruck memes too. Pro shooter @robintrajano shared this picture from his first Cybertruck photo session.
Senior editor @alexanderstoklosa suggested Cybertruck’s irreverent, zero-volts-given design with this meme cat remix. Same energy.
