All wheels requiring any form of structural repair are deemed to have no inherent value, SWRSI will be adding value by the repair and refurbishment processes.

•SWRSI endeavors to repair / refurbish all wheels to the best of our ability, we cannot be responsible for unforeseen problems such as poor casting, hidden problems generally these problems may only become evident when the existing wheel finish is stripped back to the base metal, if we believe that the wheel cannot achieve a finish as expected then we will contact the customer and discuss any options and possibly other work we may have to undertake to remedy the problem.

.•SWRSI “Standard” finish is based on viewing the completed wheel with the naked eye whilst standing upright from a distance of not less than 4 feet away from the wheel, as viewed normally on a car.

•Should the customer require a finish “as new” or show finish, then this must be accounted for based on a time charge within the pricing structure as (COR) cost of repair, Declared at quotation time.

•When SWRSI repairs structurally damaged wheels, we may leave the odd machine mark which will be visible on close inspection, this is usually on the inner rear part of the wheel and will not affect the front face, standard finish applies.

•SWRSI reserves the right to refuse to complete any refurbishment work if any of the wheels received require structural repair work before refurbishment. We will never refurbish a wheel that requires any form of structural repair work, i.e. bent, buckled or twisted, the repair work must be carried out first.

•SWRSI will do it’s best to straighten the bent/buckle/run out wheel to its best possible repairable limit according to the condition of the wheel. SWRSI do not claim any bent/buckle/run out wheel repaired at its facility will be back to its original shape as it was at the time of manufactured.

•SWRSI will not hold any responsibility for any kind of crack or breakage of wheel while bent/buckle/run out repairs.

•SWRSI do not recommend any kind of welding on the wheels, however if customer insist to do welding on the wheel
then it will be done purely on the customers risk.

•Customers should be aware that certain high gloss finishes show blemishes more readily, such as black, chrome or bright silver, we cannot guarantee to make your wheels perfect but we will ensure that there is a significant improvement. Should a customer request an as new finish or show wheels, then an additional charge will apply, this will be calculated on an hourly basis plus any materials required.

•With sprayed paints, particularly metallic paints, a ‘perfect’ finish match is impossibility due to the fact that there are so many environmental factors that can affect the colour. The only way to guarantee an Imperceptible finish difference across multiple wheels is to have them all repainted simultaneously. We will only be responsible for a perceived difference between wheels. However we try our best to match the paint as much as possible.

•SWRSI will do our best to meet the time-scales as given when the wheels were booked in, however, target time-scales are just that, ‘target’, SWRSI takes no responsibility for unforeseen delays that effect the process of the wheel repairs and refurbishment, some wheels require processes that take longer to achieve than a standard process.

•SWRSI recommends that new valves be fitted to each wheel when we are fitting tire, Standard rubber valves are incorporated within the price. Alternative valves such as metal, chrome sleeved, hidden or small rubber can be installed at an additional charge and depending on stock. We may have to order in especially which can delay the process.

•SWRSI do not hold any responsibility for any kind of fitment problem or damage occurs while removing or fitting of after markets wheels, upside/ down size wheels /tire, additional fitments like hub spacers and non-standardized bolts and nuts.

•SWRSI do not hold any responsibility for any kind of damage on the tire while removing or fitting due to any factors such as age of tire, condition of tire etc, etc.

•Corrosion removes metal from the surface of the wheel. The longer corrosion is allowed to progress, the deeper the pitting. While applying new coatings may mask a degree of the surface degradation of the wheel, it cannot restore the pitted metal surface. Wheels that have been allowed to corrode will not therefore ever be restored to an as-new finish. The deeper the corrosion, the more this will be visible in the refinished wheel.

•We will ensure that all wheels will be refurbished to the best we possibly can but we cannot be held responsible for excessive corrosion, or if the alloy has a malformed casting. These problems are not apparent at first and will only become visible when the old finish is removed. Other problems include:

oThe wheels/locking nut/bolts/stud/tyre having been incorrectly maintained or modified
oAny previous service or repairs which have not been properly carried out.

•Many cars are fitted with wheels with a Diamond Cut finish. The process for this finish takes longer than the standard finish, which is why it is more expensive. It is possible to refurbish wheels that have been Diamond Cut just by painting them, but the finish is not the same.

•The Diamond Cutting process involves using a specialist cnc lathe to take off the paint, and a small amount of the alloy from the face. They cannot be continually refurbished as too much alloy would eventually be removed. We advise you if we think too much has been removed for another refurbishment. If after your refurb a wheel is damaged, for example in transit, or with tyre fitting, and the wheel cannot be Diamond Cut again the wheels may have to be painted. We cannot be held responsible for accidental damage.

•Small scuffs on Diamond Cut wheels cannot be repaired easily like they can on painted wheels. To be able to repair it properly the entire wheel needs to be refurbished.

•Most of the time wheel that is heavly buckled cannot be Diamond Cut. The wheel must run close to true to be able to machine it. If we cannot Diamond cut a wheel we will inform you, and suggest all 4 are painted instead.

•SWRSI reserve the right not to fit damaged or illegal tyres.

•Vehicles or wheels will not be released until payments are made in full.

•Payments must be made before we start work on wheels, delayed payment will push back the time-scale and start point, thereby we will have to fit the wheels in the que as and where we can, thus delaying the completion time.

•SWRSI charge a storage fee of 5 OMR per day from day 8 if the wheels are not collected 7 calendar days after we have completed the work and contacted the customer to advise of the completion.

•SWRSI will endeavor to contact customers with respect of collecting the wheels, should however the wheels not be collected within 2 months after completion then we reserve the right to sell the wheels in order to recover the costs incurred to us.

•SWRSI accepts no responsibility for wheels transported to us and from us or collected by couriers engaged by the customer, the customer should ensure that the courier has sufficient insurance cover. SWRSI accepts no responsibility of any vehicles damages or accident which are taken and driven by SWRSI staff on customer’s request for their wheel repair.

•The customer must ensure adequate packaging / boxing, refer to our Sending page for tips etc., insufficient packing may incur a fee if we have to supply our own packaging / boxing for the return journey

SWRSI will not accept liability for the cost of repairing or replacing parts of your vehicle and in particular SWRSI will not accept liability for any technical or structural damage to the wheels where such damage occurs due to pre-existing faults and/or wear and tear.

Structurally damaged wheels repaired by SWRSI are not covered under our warranty, it is solely the customers responsibility to drive with repaired wheels.

•All of our colour coated wheels will come with a 6 month warranty against defect, subject to the damage not having occurred as a result of driver damage or corrosive cleaners which will dull the lacquer over time. SWRSI have the final say in determination of defects.

•If after 6 months the lacquer appears to have dulled and we cannot determine the route cause, then we will re coat the wheel for 50% of the total cost, inclusive of tyre removal & balancing charges which may apply.

•SWRSI require that if an unsatisfactory finish occurs then we must be allowed to re coat the wheel at our expense.
If due to the wheel design, base metals or unforeseen problems we cannot subsequently redress the initial quality of the finish then the customer must accept that this is the best that we can do, no refund shall be provided in part or whole.

•Two Piece wheels (Split rims) – No warranty is offered on the wheel bolts coming loose. Where SWRSI refits the spit rims after repair we will ensure that the wheel bolts are properly torqued using the appropriate tools, customers are however responsible for checking wheel bolts after an initial bedding in period of 50 Kilometers and at regular intervals thereafter as part of a standard maintenance routine.

•Split rim bolts that SWRSI remove may break on removal for whatever reason, the customer will be notified and new bolt kits will be required for each bolt as we will have to drill and re-thread, additional cost will be there in that case.

•Any complaints should be sent in writing (includes email) within 48 hours after you have collected your vehicle at the outlet where the work was carried out.

•Claims under the SWRSI guarantee are settled by free rectification or (at SWRSI discretion) a refund equal to the portion of the invoice price representing the unsatisfactory repair. Any refund or liability shall be limited to a maximum of the amount quoted upon the estimate or invoice or a proportion of the total quotation or invoice, e.g. if 4 wheels invoiced and 1 wheel is claimed.

•SWRSI will not be liable for any consequential loss incurred as a result of a repair. It is incumbent on you to keep a receipt as proof of work carried out. Any warranty claim made without a receipt shall be at SWRSI discretion.

•SWRSI will not be liable if the customer gets a tyre fitted by another party and the rim is subsequently damaged, the customer will have to claim repair costs from the tyre fitter.

•These terms of supply of services will be subject to Oman law and the Oman courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the agreement.

•We offer no warranty on Diamond Cut wheels. The finish is not as hard wearing as painted, as you are lacquering a bare alloy finish. Stone chips are one of the most common defects on diamond cut wheels which shall be the cause to lift the lacquer.

•No guarantee is given to any items welded and work is carried out at owners own risk.

•SWRSI shall not be liable for any failure to perform any of its obligations to you where the failure is due to circumstances beyond SWRSI reasonable control, including, without limitation, Act of God, war, civil disturbance, flood, lightning or fire, industrial action or lockouts, the act or omission of Government or any agent thereof, the act or omission of any person for whom SWRSI is not responsible.

•SWRSI reserves the right to revise and amend these terms from time to time. You will be subject to the terms in force at the time of the booking.
