To no one’s surprise, the upcoming James Bond movie No Time to Die will feature a slew of Aston Martins, including the classic DB5 and V8 Vantage, as well as the Valhalla hypercar and the glorious DBS Superleggera. As excited as we are to see those cars, though, we’re also looking forward to watching a handful of new Land Rover Defenders perform some sweet on-screen jumps, as previewed by this video.
Land Rover has released rehearsal footage from the new Bond film, which shows multiple Defender 110s catching air and hurtling down hilly terrain. A lone Defender then gets dirty ripping through swamps and rivers before flipping over, landing on its wheels, and scurrying along with only minor damage to its bodywork.
According to Land Rover, the 10 Defenders used in the film had no alterations to their body structures, save for the installation of roll cages. The Defender isn’t the only Land Rover to show up in the latest Bond movie, and keen-eyed fans of the British brand ought to enjoy cameos by the sporty Range Rover Sport SVR, legendary Series III, and dapper Range Rover Classic.
The new Defender arrives this spring, just in time for No Time to Die, which hits theaters in the United States on April 10.
